Ubiquisys and Tatara Systems Collaborate on a Femtocell System

Tatara and Ubiquisys are collaborating on a femtocell system that employs the 3GPP IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) standard for mobile core network integration. Through this collaboration, operators will be able to implement a standardized, cost-effective and secure access-network system that supports large-scale femtocell deployments and leverages the existing embedded base of 2G and 3G cell phones.
